Private repository upload
How to upload a private repository
GitDrop is for sending a private repo to someone who should not get access to your main host. Upload the snapshot, optionally lock it, and share one link.
Upload a private repository1. Prepare a ZIP or folder
Select source files and images only. GitDrop accepts snapshots up to 10 MB and skips generated folders.
2. Upload the private repository
Drop the ZIP on the homepage or choose files. You get a unique /r/ link as soon as the snapshot is imported.
3. Add a password if you want
Optional visitor password locks the page. A separate owner password is generated once so you can edit later.
4. Share the repository link
Send the URL. Reviewers browse README, files, comments, and releases without creating an account.
Need the longer walkthrough? Private repository sharing covers passwords, reviews, and releases.
